Production Interval Timer (PIT) v1.2©1994 John E. HallAll rights reserved.INTRODUCTION:I programmed PIT to time scripts and music in the storyboard phase for Interactive multimedia projects, and for video productions. In this version I have limited the number of intervals to 24 to reduce memory needs. I have also added accumulated totals for the interval times. This is necessary to help in the programming phase of multimedia where you need to time intervals from a reference point.Pit is designed to time intervals while the script or sound track is being played back or read. The intervals collected are used to design each animation or set of images for accurate storyboards.INSTALLATION:You will need Newton Connection, or the Newton Developer Toolkit to download the PIT package to your Newton.USING PITAfter you have installed PIT on your Newton, open the Extras drawer and tap on the PIT icon. You can Start the timer with the Start/Stop button and then stop it with the same button. If you need split interval times then press the split button. Up to 24 intervals will be stored in memory. PAYMENT:I hope PIT is very useful to video producers and multimedia designers and programmers and would like to hear of ways to improve the program. This software is distributed as ShareWare.
