They are:	* Button Bar Plus.txt	document you're now reading.	* Button Bar Plus.pkg	software package you'll install on your Newton.	* SA Reg.pkg	software package you'll install on your Newton to					enter the password you get when you register 					Button Bar Plus.	* SAStuff.txt	A list of all Stand Alone products.* Installing Button Bar Plus---------------------------------------------------------------------	First off, you must get the Button Bar Plus software package onto yourNewton. You can do this using the Newton Connection Utility (for Mac orWindows), the Newton Package Downloader, or the Newton BackupUtility. See the documentaion with each of these for moreinformation on installing packages with them.* Using Button Bar Plus---------------------------------------------------------------------Tap and hold on the Extras Drawer icon to get to the Button Bar Plusmain menu.  This lets you select between configurations, Close theButton bar, edit your configurations, and set other prefs.¥ Multiple Configurations	Tapping on "Edit Sets" will open up a window to let you edit button bar configurations.  The pop-up menu labeled "Current Set"wil let you switch the set you are editing or create a new set.	The top half of this window will let you select icons that willappear in a configuration.  The lower half lets you add special controls and set several other options.	¥ Multiple Thicknessess 	The "ButtonBar Size" picker in the edit sets window lets you changethe thickness of the Button Bar for a set.  You can choose between Full Thickness, 1/2 Thickness, 1 and 1/2 Thickness, and Double Thickness.¥ Controls 	Other choices in the Edit Sets window let you add icons to controlthe volume of the Newton, control the contrast of the Newton, togglebetween icon sets (tapping this functions the same as the "Edit Sets"button), mute the Newton's volume, toggle the backlight, perform a garbage collection, and rotate the Newton.  In addition, you can choose whether or not to show the names of icons (full sizeicons only), and add an icon will will bring up a list of all installedpackages.¥ Small Icons	To make an icon in the Button Bar small, tap and hold on it.  It willshrink to 1/4 the size of a regular icon.  Tapping and holding on it againwill return it to full size.  Note that if 1/2 thickness is selected allicons will be small.¥ÊClose Button Bar	Selecting "Close Bar" will close the button bar and replace it with a small floating button bar.  This bar has the scroll arrows, overviewbutton, extras drawer icon, an undo button, a button to bring up a floatingversion of your full button bar, and a close box.  Tapping the closebox will return the normal button bar.* Registering Button Bar Plus---------------------------------------------------------------------	You have a 30 day trial period in which to examine Button Bar Plus, during which it will function fully. Should you wish to register, you'll need to do one of the following:	* Call us and pay using Visa or Mastercard. We can give you a 	  password right over the phone: instant gratification!  (773) 477-2492.	* Send us a check for $25 to the address below.			* Using CompuServe, GO SWREG #14675.		However you register, PLEASE be sure to include an email address(it's not vital, but it will result in MUCH speedier service) and your name, as entered in the Owner Info section of your Newton. This is used to generate the password we send you to unlock Button Bar Plus, so it has to be exact.	Once you register, you will receive a password from us. To use it,install the SA Register package (also enclosed in the Button Bar Plusarchive), select "Button Bar Plus" from the pop up menu at the top, and enterthe password. You should get a message confirming the password.
